E3 Aftermath

In light of last week’s E3 fodder plastered all across each corner of the internet, I would like to discuss exactly which games I’m excited about.

Assassin’s Creed III has been long awaited for me. However, when Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed II would be during Revolutionary War, I lost a bit of hope and enthusiasm. Great, another war game. It would be less focused on assassinating unsuspecting guards who are giving plenty of love to walls and more on being good at shooting things… like every other shooting game. The gameplay that was shown at E3 was just like most of the other Assassin’s Creed games, which is good. Although the graphics aren’t that impressive, I am nonetheless excited and hope it lives up to Assassin’s Creed II, which was the best in the series.

Star Wars 1313 is probably the game I am most excited about. I love anything Star Wars, and if it even mentions bounty hunters, I get weakened in the knees. Oh how I love Mandalorians. When I posted about it last week, we all assumed the main dude was the main dude. Nope, he’s just a placeholder, which leads to more excitement and speculation. Perhaps Boba Fett is the main character… Jango Fett… Hell, I’m secretly hoping for Greedo.

Lastly, Gears of War: Judgement has got me all flabbergasted yet thrilled. I was so excited for Gears of War 3 when it came out, and it was a pretty good game (story wise, I liked 2 better, but it was definitely a tear-jerker). However, I’m not nearly as excited for this one because it is centered around Baird. Actually, it’s suppose to be centered around Baird and Cole, but I think they’re going to give Baird more attention than Cole even though Cole is the best character in the damn game. Oh, how I hate Baird.

There ya have it, the 3 games that are worth watching ’til their release dates.
